If you then decide on our school, the contract will be finalized. Afterwards, you will receive a school confirmation from us, which you can use to easily deregister your child from their previous school. This process is possible at any time during the school year, allowing you to remain flexible.
Joker days offer you the opportunity to take your child out of the school routine flexibly. These days can be easily arranged upon request. Whether for an extended vacation or if your child needs a break for a few weeks – we support your plans. Simply inquire in advance and we'll ensure everything runs smoothly. It's important to note that joker days are not refunded from tuition fees.
At our school, every child receives a report card at the end of the school year that meets Zurich's educational standards. We place great importance on ensuring that our report cards comply with official guidelines and comprehensively document your child's learning progress.
At our school, we fully implement Curriculum 21 to ensure that all educational standards are met. At the same time, we consciously integrate Montessori principles into our teaching. This combination allows us to meet state requirements while creating an individualized and child-centered learning environment where each child can learn at their own pace.
Our children don't have homework. It's important to us that free time after school belongs entirely to the family. The children should be able to enjoy their afternoons and evenings without the added pressure of school. This leaves more time for shared activities, relaxation, and recreation.
In addition to academic subjects, we place great emphasis on the development of social skills and practical abilities. Our children learn not only how to work together effectively and take responsibility, but also practical skills such as teamwork, performing kitchen duties, simple household tasks, and fundamental life skills like time management and organization. These additional skills support the children in their well-rounded development and enable them to act independently and responsibly in everyday life.
Our children have regular learning assessments and tests. These serve to monitor their knowledge at any given time and ensure that their learning progress meets the requirements. Based on this, we can also issue report cards that accurately reflect your child's learning level.
To support parents in accurately assessing and fostering their child's academic development, a meeting takes place every six months between the teachers, the child, and the parents. During these meetings, learning progress is discussed and new goals are agreed upon. In addition, the teachers prepare comprehensive development and learning reports at the end of the third and sixth grades.
